


Uisuk Jeong, Ph.D
About Dr. Jeong
Uisuk joined the D’Amato lab as a Research Fellow in May 2026. He received his Ph.D. in Medical Science from Ajou University in Republic of Korea in 2025. During his doctoral studies, Uisuk also gained experience in translational drug discovery as a founding member and Senior Researcher at S&K Therapeutics (2021–2024). His doctoral thesis focused on the development of endosomal TLR inhibitors as therapeutics for autoimmune diseases. In addition to his thesis work, he has conducted research on small-molecule inhibitors targeting NLRP3, PD-L1, and IRAK4, and has experience in growth factor-mimetic peptides. At Boston Children’s Hospital, Uisuk aims to apply his expertise in drug development to the lab's ongoing research, specifically focusing on the development of TIE2-targeted peptides and small-molecule therapeutics.
